Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
How long will it take to get my order?
It depends on where you are and which shipping option you choose. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We use USPS and UPS. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

Can I return my product? (Refund Policy)

At Ruth’s Brownies, our brownies, cookies, and biscotti are perishable food items, we are unable to accept physical returns once a product has left our kitchen. However, your satisfaction is our priority, and we are happy to work with you to make things right if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not meet our high standards.
1. Perishable Products
All Ruth’s Brownies products are made to order and shipped fresh. For food safety and quality assurance reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any perishable product. Please double-check your order before confirming payment to ensure all items, addresses, and details are correct.
2. Order Accuracy and Quality Guarantee
We take great pride in the freshness and presentation of every order. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact our Customer Care team within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the packaging and product, if applicable.
Once verified, we will gladly offer a replacement, store credit, or partial refund depending on the circumstances. Requests made after 48 hours or without supporting photos may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
3. Shipping Delays or Delivery Issues
Once your order leaves our facility, it is in the care of our selected carrier (UPS, USPS). We cannot guarantee delivery times or be held responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or incorrect addresses entered at checkout.
If your order is lost in transit or significantly delayed, please reach out to us and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier or issuing a suitable resolution.
4. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please carefully review your shipping information before completing checkout. Ruth’s Brownies is not responsible for packages delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply if a package must be re-sent.
5. Cancellations and Order Changes
Because our brownies are baked to order, cancellations or changes must be requested within 12 hours of placing your order. After this period, your order may already be in production and cannot be altered or refunded.
To request a cancellation or modification, please email help@ruthsbrownies.com with your order number and details as soon as possible.
6. Refund Processing
If a refund or partial credit is approved, it will be processed to your original form of payment within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
7. Gift Orders and Third-Party Purchases
If you received a gift order and are not satisfied with the product, please contact us directly with the gift sender’s name or order number so we can verify the purchase. We are happy to offer a resolution such as a replacement or store credit. Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment used at checkout.
8. Subscription Orders
Subscription boxes are baked and shipped automatically each billing period. To pause, skip, or cancel a subscription, please log in to your account at least 3 days before your next scheduled billing date. Refunds cannot be issued for orders that have already been baked or shipped.

Can I get my product personalized?
It depends on the creator and the product. All options are outlined on the product page, so look out for customization options there.
How do I create an account?
An account is automatically created for you when you make your first purchase. Your personal information is never shared, sold, or rented to any third party. All customer data is securely stored and used only to process your orders and improve your shopping experience. For full details, please review our [Privacy Policy].
How do I log in to my account?
Click the “Sign-In / Register” link located at the top right corner of any page. Enter your registered email address and password. Click “Sign In” to access your account dashboard.
How do I edit my account information?
After signing in, you’ll be directed to your My Account page. There, simply click “Edit” next to the section you wish to update. Make your changes and select “Save” to confirm. Updates will take effect immediately for future orders.

Click the “Sign-In / Register” link at the top right corner of the site. Select “Forgot your password?” to reset it. Follow the instructions in the email we send to securely create a new password. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

Ordering Ruth’s Brownies, Cookies & Biscotti
How do I place an order?
Browse our shop and select the product and quantity of your choice. (Please note: larger quantities often include a per-unit discount when shipped to a single destination.) Click “Add to Cart.” During checkout, you’ll be asked to select your Bake/Ship Date, gift options, and preferred shipping method. Complete payment and confirm your order. If you wish to send items to more than one recipient, please place separate orders for each shipping address.
What is a “Bake/Ship Date” and how do I choose one?
Every Ruth’s product is baked to order in small batches to ensure freshness. Your Bake/Ship Date is the day your items are baked and shipped from our kitchen. During checkout, you’ll see a calendar showing available baking days — typically up to three months in advance. Simply click on your preferred date. If no date is selected, we’ll automatically bake and ship your order on the next available baking day. Please note: we do not normally bake or ship on Sundays. Because all goods are handmade in limited daily quantities, certain dates may become unavailable once our baking capacity is reached. If you need a special date outside of our standard schedule, please contact Customer Care and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards — Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover — as well as PayPal. All transactions are processed securely.
How do I purchase a Gift Certificate?
Gift Certificates can be purchased directly from our website. Click the “Gift Certificate” link in the navigation bar and choose a denomination ($25, $50, $100, $250, or $500). You’ll be asked for the recipient’s name and email address, and a personal message to include on the digital gift card. Once payment is processed, the recipient will instantly receive an email containing their electronic Gift Certificate and a unique Gift Code to redeem at checkout.
How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?
Shop as usual and add your desired items to the cart. During checkout, enter your Gift Code when prompted. The amount of the Gift Certificate will automatically be deducted from your total. If your purchase exceeds the certificate’s value, you can pay the remaining balance with any accepted payment method. Unused balances remain valid for 12 months from the original purchase date.
How do I use a Promotional Coupon or Discount Code?
When checking out, enter your Promotional Code in the field labelled “Promo Code” or “Discount Code.” The discount amount will automatically apply to your order total. Please note: Promotional codes are valid for online purchases only. Codes must be entered exactly as they appear (case sensitive). Expired or unauthorized codes will not be accepted.

What is Ruth’s Monthly Brownie Subscription?
Our Monthly Brownie Subscription ensures you’ll always have a fresh supply of Ruth’s handcrafted brownies. Each month, you’ll receive a freshly baked assortment of our signature flavors — made to order, shipped directly from our Hudson Valley kitchen, and delivered right to your door. Subscribers enjoy guaranteed monthly delivery, exclusive subscriber discounts, early access to seasonal collections, and flexible options to pause, skip, or cancel anytime.
How do I subscribe?
Visit the “The Brownie Box” section of our website and choose your preferred plan. Select your box size and preferred delivery date, then complete checkout. Your subscription will automatically renew every month. You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately.
How does billing work?
Your payment method will be charged automatically on the same date each renewal period. For example, if you subscribe on the 10th of the month, you’ll be billed on the 10th of each subsequent month. A reminder email will be sent 3–5 days before each renewal so you have time to update, skip, or cancel if needed.
When will my subscription box ship?
Subscription boxes are baked fresh and shipped on the Bake/Ship Date corresponding to your renewal. Shipping typically occurs within 24 hours of baking. Delivery times depend on your selected shipping option. You’ll receive tracking information each time your box ships.
Can I pause or skip a month?
Yes. You can pause or skip any delivery. Log in to your account, go to “Manage Subscriptions,” and choose to skip your next shipment, pause your subscription, or resume it at any time. Changes must be made at least 3 days before your billing date to apply to that month’s shipment.
Can I change my delivery address or payment method?
Yes. Log in to your account and select “Manage Subscriptions.” Update your shipping address or payment method as needed. Any updates made before billing will apply to your next shipment.
How do I cancel my subscription
You can cancel anytime after your first billing cycle. Log in to your account, go to “Manage Subscriptions,” and click “Cancel Subscription.” There are no cancellation fees, and you’ll continue to receive any boxes already paid for.
Can I give the subscription as a gift?
Yes. The Monthly Brownie Subscription makes a wonderful gift. Select “Send as a Gift” at checkout, enter the recipient’s information, and include an optional personal message.
