Reese's Cup Brownies

What You’ll Need

For the Brownie Batter:

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour, sifted

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ⅓ cup butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs, well beaten

For the Filling:

  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup peanut butter

  • 3 tablespoons milk

  • ⅓ cup powdered sugar

How to Make Them

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

  2. Prepare the brownie batter:

    • In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

    • In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter with the cocoa until smooth.

    • In another bowl, beat the eggs and gradually add in the sugar, mixing well. Stir in the cocoa mixture.

    • Add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  3. Prepare the filling:

    • Beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.

    • Add the milk and powdered sugar, mixing until creamy and spreadable.

  4. Assemble:

    • Spread two-thirds of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.

    • Spread the peanut butter filling over the batter (a rubber spatula works best).

    • Top with the remaining brownie batter, gently spreading to cover.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs.

  6. Cool completely, slice, and enjoy.
