What You’ll Need
For the Brownie Batter:

¾ cup all-purpose flour, sifted

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

⅓ cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 cup sugar

2 eggs, well beaten
For the Filling:

3 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup peanut butter
-
3 tablespoons milk
-
⅓ cup powdered sugar
How to Make Them

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

Prepare the brownie batter:

In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter with the cocoa until smooth.

In another bowl, beat the eggs and gradually add in the sugar, mixing well. Stir in the cocoa mixture.

Add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Prepare the filling:

Beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.

Add the milk and powdered sugar, mixing until creamy and spreadable.

Assemble:

Spread two-thirds of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Spread the peanut butter filling over the batter (a rubber spatula works best).

Top with the remaining brownie batter, gently spreading to cover.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs.

Cool completely, slice, and enjoy.
